I was right about that black widow laying more eggs! The day after I took the pictures there was an extra egg sac in the nest.

Then she got busy finishing up eating the roach and a fly. How creepy is this?

After having nightmares about a zillion babies invading my front porch, I sprayed the nest good along with the whole porch. And guess what? There was another smaller black widow starting a nest on the opposite corner. Apparently the Spider RE Agents had put out the word of this highly desirable location that was move-in ready!

Now I just have a lizard living under the metal turtle wall hanging. His job is to patrol for roaches around the front door…
