Who’s Territory Is This Anyway?

Sometimes I look out my windows and see the darnedest things. There are always squirrels and rabbits hanging out. Way more squirrels. But they usually don’t pay any attention to each other. In the backyard under the bird feeder, everyone eats together quite happily. (minus the rabbits now that they were all evicted)
So it was funny to see this squirrel so interested in the rabbit. The squirrel slowly came down the tree and very cautiously followed the rabbit around the roots. They never touched or even spooked each other. I’m not even sure if the rabbit was aware that it was under surveillance!
